- Rewrote DVSI hardware vocoder integration from the serial protocol up, achieving real-time P25 decoding and unlocking macOS support for local development.
- Fixed a race condition dropping 40% of radio transmissions, resolving a long-standing transcription quality issue.
- Built live playback for in-progress radio transmissions using Kafka and LiveKit, letting dispatchers listen before a transmission ends.
- Built a chat assistant for incident-statistic queries that only answers from live, verified data — critical in a safety-critical dispatch context where a wrong answer is worse than none.
Cloud data API platform that auto-generates REST and GraphQL APIs from database schemas. Seed-stage, ~12 person team.

Nov 2023 – Apr 2025- Designed and built usage-based billing infrastructure using Lago and Stripe, the company's first monetization system.
- Integrated Authzed (based on Google Zanzibar) to replace ad-hoc permission checks with a scalable, auditable authorization system.
- Designed and implemented the Access Policies system, enabling granular access control for API consumers.
- Built a customer-facing social auth system on OpenID Connect, with user data living in each customer's own database.
